Last night I went to my mom's band concert. She retired a bit ago, so like they had this big concert thing in her honour last night. I played trumpet in her band (cuz she still conducts the band at her school), it was pretty fun. What honoustly got me though, was that all day teachers and students kept telling me how much my mom means to them, and

Tell your mom I said congrats. And don't worry Kell. Summer's starting soon (or maybe it has already for you), and you won't have to deal with it for a whole four months. I agree that university won't prepare you for everything, but on the other hand, it takes some of the fun out and it shows that you never stop learning. :) You've always had the ability to connect with people younger than yourself and I've seen what you cna do when you put your mind to it.
