It seems pretty clear to me that you have known what you need for a while, and I'm very happy to see that you're working on getting it now. Sometimes you just need to worry about yourself and let everyone else take care of his or her own self. I think it's rare when you do that, but I think making yourself a priority will actually serve to improve relationships with those around you. And then, once everything calms down, maybe you should consider taking a job in child care (in your free time, of course).
