Those are the only keys working on my laptop right now. This is unfortunate. also, backspace doesn't work. Help!

Presumably you can get by with an external keyboard, but in the absence of one for now there's the on-screen keyboard under accessories/accessability?

Well, I had to come back from the Cape to get a keyboard, but now I'm good. I'm going to order a replacement keyboard after the weekend.

When my enter key stopped working entirely on my keyboard, Nyren bought a new keyboard for my laptop - they're actually not hard to take out and replace, you just need to find the right model/size part for your laptop, I think.

That's the plan!

Maybe try taking out the keyboard part and giving it a good canned-air cleaning (or, y'know, blow on it ;P) while wiping down the still-on-the-laptop side of things with a barely damp cloth?

Tried it, and alas it didn't work, so I got an external keyboard to use until I can get a replacement laptop one.
