So I've returned from my first WorldCon in one piece, and gotten some much needed sleep. I won't be catching up on LJ, so if you posted anything I really should know, leave a comment here.
I'd be interested in reading somewhat more detailed reports about several of these panels, if you feel like writing them - particularly filk from the listener's perspective, legal systems, single-sex cultures, designing the perfect filk con, and polyamory. (For the ones you didn't like, of course, I want to know what you think went wrong.)
I agree with you about the "Designing the Perfect Filk Con" panel--and I was one of the panelists! We did seem to spend most of the time discussing how to select "the perfect guest", plus a lot of tech talk. Spending more time talking about the right programming/socializing balance would have been useful. I had also been hoping we could get into a discussion of circle dynamics.
