What are 10 things you do every day? Get dressed (generally a tee and jeans), brush my teeth (I hate the taste in my mouth when I wake up and I can’t stand my teeth feeling scummy), check my E-mail (personal and business), check Etsy (hit the forums and check out new stores), check craigslist (I'm a sucker for the missed connections personals), submit applications and set up interviews (I was recently terminated from my job without warning or good reason), cook (my meals lately have widely consisted of quesadillas and rice), snack (most recently a gobstopper candy cane), play with my cat (a black tabby of about 11 years), pray (before bed, at least)
What is the most important thing in your life? Developing as a person and finding out more about myself; I need to do more of this and less freaking out about things I can’t control.
Who do you live with? My [random] roommate, Maggie
What would you change about yourself? I would be more confident and worry less; I have too many irrational fears and too much anxiety.
What are some of your pet peeves? Chipped fingernails, perople who constantly tap their brakes instead of slowing down gradually, people who can’t take a joke, guys who think they are every girl’s dream when they are really inconsiderate jerks, people who don’t silence their phones during movies/plays/concerts
What is one obsession you have? I am obsessed with love. It is such a great feeling and it makes me feel as if there's more to life than going through the motions and merely surviving. Unfortunately, the guy I love is sick of those sentiments.

What is something you are good at? I make pretty jewelry. I also sing and act well.
Have you ever had a broken heart (tell us about it if you have)? Without question
What is one experience you went through that was very tough? To be honest, right now is rough. The love of my life refuses to behave with any kind of civility towards me, I’m unemployed, my brakes are out for the second time in six months, and my friends have been so tied up with school and significant others that they don’t had time for me. I understand that things will get better; most of these issues are going to be resolved in short order, but I’m still really stressed out about it.
What are your friends like? Very busy lately. Other than that, most of them are artistic, well-versed in popular and geek culture, and great fun to hang out with.

OPINIONS
What do you think about the FCC regulating the media? I think that to an extent it’s necessary, but it’s gotten very out of hand. I definitely think that everybody has the right to their opinion and should be able to express it in whatever way they’d like, but I don’t think kids should be watching everything that’s available to them on TV/YouTube. I think that rather than the FCC, the parents of said children should be monitoring the media in their homes. I really think that if parents decided to take charge and monitor what their kids watch instead of using the television as a babysitter, the FCC could back off.
What is something you feel strongly about? I feel strongly that corporate monstrosities like Wal-Mart have lulled consumers into a false cheaper-is-better mentality. Skilled trades are becoming a lost art and many people are now more concerned with saving money immediately than with quality. What consumers often don’t realize is that when purchasing disposable diapers, bibs, plates, napkins, etc. for the cost and the convenience is that they could be stimulating the local economy, helping preserve the environment, and saving money long-term by buying handmade reusable products from local artisans and organic/free-range groceries from local farms.
What do you think about uniforms in schools? I absolutely think that there should be guidelines as to what children can and cannot wear in school, but I also think they should express and embrace their individuality through fashion. Where I wouldn’t approve of a 14-year-old girl wearing a miniskirt with a thong making a visible run for her lower back, I also don’t think that she should be limited to stuffy polos and pleated pants. I was never made fun of in school because my parents couldn’t afford to buy name brand clothing for me, so why should the school make me feel like a sheep?
