That sounds like a fine weekend! And y'know lately I've been randomly watching videos on Youtube and there's a lot of people who've turned even tiny California lots into abundant food-producing gardens so anything is possible! I'd love to live off my own land, though up here that would be harder.
This is the first definite reference I've heard to your ...girlfriend (I hate that word). Sounds like she's great!
And as for movies... Terminator rocks but I love T2 more. Die hard movies are always good. Haven't seen most of your list though I have an undying love for the cheesiness that is Escape from L.A. and Kevin Smith movies are always awesome!

I suppose it's just going back to how life survived all those years ago, they didn't need big malls and seasonal fruits available all year round by wonders of modern economies of scale.
I'm sure if you just took how people lived in Canada years ago, you'd be able to survive like that maybe it would just mean living in a log cabin and hunting, rather than the farm house of a farmer.
Jenny, is fantastic yeah =) She has her own Ford Transit Van converted into a campervan:-
I love movies from the 80s and early 90s! Mostly the comedies. Trading Spaces is awesome, Ghostbusters never gets old, Groundhog Day is great, Stripes is genius... They don't make movies like that anymore. :/
