what if young men grow old with gerber knives? then would old timers and case's be appealing to the NEW young? and it'd be a cycle-maybe.

thats a question i dont feel i have the knowledge and experience to answer sartini. i have to speak from my own experience on this one. i do see this becoming a cycle though to answer your question. but i cant answer that except for to tell you there are cycles in life that repeat in circular motions. so yes. that IS a question i dont feel i have the knowledge nor experience to answer sartini.

if you are a old man/ grandpa you probably own a hat, it will probably be houndstooth and most likely carry a pocket knife like perhaps an old timer.

dear x-roomie, last night i had the great privelege of joining in a late night bbq with many people of the aged bracket. none wore hats. i didn't ask about pocket knives, but if they owned them, there was no brandishing. there were comments about how i'm looking more and more like my mother. there was line dancing and alabama. i just thought i'd mention that to add some perspective to this entry.

p.s. the island misses you.

older people like to tell the same jokes. like at a restraunt when old people run into other old people on the way out they say,"you got here just in time, i left a little bit of lunch for ya."

i heard that one today at the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club. A place that really is just a fancied up buffet.
