1. Can you cook? Absolutely. You cannot grow up in my family without having a signature dish. Mine changes every few years…
2. What was your dream growing up? For the longest time I wanted to be a vet. Knowing what I do now, I’m very glad I’m not one. I don’t deal with stupid people very well.
3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could ice skate really well. I’m working on it.
4. Favorite place? Anywhere with snow. Permanent snow would be best.
5. Favorite vegetable? Too hard. I like all of them, except broad beans. They suck.
6. What was the last book you read? The Mysteries of Pittsburgh. By Michael Chabon. It’s deliciously tongue in cheek about being pretentious and there’s slash. No Penguins though, dammit! That’s the first book I’ve finished in over two years. No matter how good they are, I’ve been putting them down about 100 pages from the end and not picking them up again. Now I’ve proven I can do it, I might go back and finish the others.
7. What zodiac sign are you? Capricorn, with a whole lot of Libra just about everywhere else. Thank goodness.
8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Two piercings in each ear, one in my tongue and one in my navel. I haven’t met anyone I trust enough to permanently ink me, though.
9. Worst Habit? Expecting as much of others as I do of myself.
10. Do we know each other outside of Livejournal? Unfortunately not.
11. What is your favorite sport? There is only one sport. Ice Hockey.
12. Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude? I waver, depending on my run of luck.
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Work out a cunning plan to escape. Failing that, I’d probably ask a million questions.
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? Well, since emotional pain makes you grow, I’m going with the physical pain. It’s a toss up between the time I fell off a horse and couldn’t walk for a couple months and Jate, the broodmare from hell. She shattered my cheekbone and loosened two of my teeth with the top of her head and then broke one of my ribs about 6 months later. Yes, she’s still alive, but not on our farm.
15. Tell me one weird fact about you. Umm…weird…I used to make Garden Gnomes for a living?
16. Do you have any pets? 6 cats, 3 dogs, 3 ½ horses and a Siamese Fighting Fish. And chickens.
17. Do you know how to do the Macarena? Arrrgh! Yes. I had to learn it for a skit some friends and I did at a horse show. We made a horse out of foam rubber, papier mache and wire. One friend was inside the horse. The other friend was dressed as one of the dudes from F-Troop and I was Chief Whaterverhisnamewas. We had to chase the horse around and then burst into the Macarena when the music changed. My headdress kept falling over on account of the toy birds in it being too heavy and then it slipped over my eyes, rendering me blind. It was a big hit.
The long expaination is to justify knowing how to do it. I’m thoroughly ashamed and have been trying to block it out.

20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? My teeth. Okay, my whole face.
21. Would you be my partner in crime or my conscience? That absolutely depends on the crime. If it hurts anyone in any way, I’d be the conscience. If it’s totally harmless, I’m right there with ya!
22. What color eyes do you have? They change between blue and green, stopping at every shade in between. The weather affects them most, followed by my mood.
23. Ever been arrested? Not for real. :p
24. Bottle or Draft? Bottle. Draft actually gives me a hangover.
25. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? Buy a laptop and goalie gear.
26. What kind of bubble gum do you prefer to chew? I suck at bubble gum. Chewing anything I can’t swallow makes me gag. But I try sometimes with Cinnamon flavour.
27. What's your favorite bar to hang at? The Mirrabooka Tavern. It’s the roughest place around, but everyone is really friendly and The Bastards don’t tolerate any harassment of women. Shame it’s so far away from my home.
28. Do you believe in ghosts? Yes. There used to be two in a building I cleaned. The one upstairs would move things and unplug my vacuum and stuff. I liked her. The one downstairs was terrifying and once I saw him, I couldn’t go back there. I didn’t know then what I do now.

30. Do you swear a lot? I work with horses. It’s required. :p
