Seekrit Santa Stuff.

I somehow ended up with two stories written for me this year, only I didn't realise until today when I went to see who wrote the first one I found. I didn't look any further on Christmas day, because I wrote one, I found one. I thought that was the deal. I have no idea how it happened, but I do feel very lucky.

{{{hugs}}} It was perfect. Thank you so much for the effort. I pull all-nighters all the time, but I don't work outside the home, and I'm used to the all-nighters after a year or two of really weird sleeping habits, insomnia, and whatnot. I do remember how much an all-nighter hurts when you're not used to it.

If it's any consolation, I freaked the hell out when I got my own assignment because I was quite sure I wasn't ready to write kidfic. Blathered all about that in my LJ yesterday.

I just wish you could have been here when the archive went up, so you could have seen my reaction to your story, which was just as I've described. Gleeful Squealing. SO embarrassing. My family thought I was very comical. I just loved the experience of reading a story that I could tell, with every word, was made especially for me. And, really, my Santa last year did that, too. I count myself very lucky. Thank you so, so much.

Much love!!

Thank God you liked it! I really wanted it to be something personal for you and I only wish I'd had more time.

All nighters for me are a rarity. But this one was well worth the effort. Your comment was a gift all by itself. I spent the rest of the day smiling.

*hugs you*

I absolutely adored "That's What Friends Are For," and it really was the perfect present for JS. She was raving about it all over the place, and deservedly so. It was great! The hands! The sex! I think it's going to be a story I'll return to again and again because it was just so warm and squishy and comforting, in a really excellent way. You did a great job with it, and I hope you're proud of your dSSS fic!

I am, actually. Now. I went through the whole birthing process with it, though, as you do. But JS made my whole year with her squeeful comment and since I pleased her, I pleased myself. :)

The fact that you liked it too? Major bonus. Thanks for your gorgeous comments.
