God... Scenario's like those you mentioned above, are so shocking. I recently got back in touch with a really good friend of mine from high school; she's on her own with 3 kids because her partner (their dad) used to hit her and the kids :( apparently she's on anti-depressants through it all these days.

Sometimes it's just unbelievable isn't it? Really makes you feel thankful you're not in such a situation like that!
