Why am I afraid of this job? Not just the interview. The whoel job.

I know what it is.

It is the fear that i am finally admitting that everyone who called it a "phase" or a "theater thing" is right and admitting that they were right when they said I should "get a real job"

but....I'm still afraid.

Just tell me it isn't forever.

It isn't forever. You wouldn't be studying theatre if you weren't supposed to. This is only temporary. Remember Avenue Q.... "Only For Now...." Much love!

Patrick,
There is absolutely nothing to be scared of. You have a gift for understanding and becoming other characters, and helping people understand the world through that gift. Not only that, but you've got a personality that lets people know, right away, that you are very good at what you do and that you love it with all your heart. This job is not forever. This is something to keep you happy and comfortable, so you can stop worrying about money and focus on acting. That's all. You don't need to "admit" anything to anyone. I truly don't believe you would ever be happier doing anything else, nor would you be able to do anything half as well as you act.

Love always.
