Two Thousand-Zero-Zero

I'm sure alexia_nvermnd will remember this music video.

And that was music from the Cold War era circa mid to late 1980's, boys and girls. Compare and contrast with today's music.

music, history

When would you wear it, though? Thanksgiving dinner with grandma and Uncle Charlie?

Maybe I'll become one of those televangelist ministers and wear a coat like that when I preach.

How I miss the music in Prince's younger days. I will stick listening to him mostly on CD. There are some good music out there, but as my husband has said, it is getting rare.

As you may have or may not have noticed, my weekly quote is from one of his many songs, the song on the front of the user info and the name clara bow are form one of his songs...and alas the hole purple ordeal on my lj is inspired by him with the touch of my darkside. The man maybe 47 years old, but damn he is still hot and the best singers out there. They may have said Micheal Jackson is the king of pop, but I say "You have to be a prince before you can be king anyway."

Ok I will stop now...you just touched on music close to my heart...thank you.

I would classify Michael Jackson as the former King of Pop. Jackson and Prince were both rather unusual people. Odd people, even. But I'm pretty sure Prince never had an eye for little boys. Prince kicks Michael Jackson's ass on that factor alone.

You're very welcome.
