So lately I've been playing Capcom Classics Collection on the PSP. It's pretty cool and has a bunch of the old games I used to play at the arcade when I was just a wee dorkling, like Final Fight, Captain Commando, and Strider. The trick is to crouch and sweep Sagat when he is coming close. This makes him jump toward you, at which point a dragon punch is easily achieved. Do that a couple of times and you start to get him to back off a bit (while getting points yourself.) Keep crouching and sweeping and while he'll get off a Tiger Shot, you'll still have enough to beat him.

Either that, or you'll just get PWND just the same. :)

You make it sound so easy, lol. If it was on a PS2 controller that'd be no prob, but the PSP D-pad and nub suck for fighting games. I did finally manage to beat him like 2 days after I posted this though, just like I guessed, by sheer luck. lol
Thanks for the tips though. If I ever forget how I scarred my thumb and decide to play Street Fighter 1 again, I'll try this strategy. :)
