Can anyone convince me not to delete the final season of Battlestar Galactica off of my MythTV box? I've tried to get into the series 3 times, and not once has it bitten me. I watched half of the first season when it came out on DVD, watched again during the New Caprica segment because of all the buzz it got because of parallels with the Iraq war ( Read more... )

I have to agree, it's never really gotten a foothold in my brain. I used to blame this on a harpy of an ex-girlfriend who would complain every time I put anything on TV remotely scifi, but now I realize she was just keeping me from seeing what a giant pit of Sci Fi channel suck it was.

That channel is dead to me, has been since they cancelled MST3k.

Our offer has been accepted, we're approved for the mortgage and the inspection went fine. All we're waiting for now is the title to clear. We're 80% certain we have it but won't know for sure for a couple more weeks.

It took me four tries to get through to the wire. I watched the first two episodes like 4 times, each time failing to make it to episode 3. When it hooked me, I was totally suckered, this just happened in my life.

That is my analogy to how you must be with BSG. I think it is some seriously amazing shit, and I do really appreciate the grim. I also am not sure how you could have seen so much w/o liking it at this point, so I am not sure if its your cup of tea. it ought to be, but if it isn't, that's ok.

In the end it's not worth it. I hate to say it because I really wanted to enjoy it. But I finished the series out of sheer stubornness and was left terribly disappointed.

Ok, so I wasn't the only one who did this. I was actually counting down the number of episodes left until the finale so I wouldn't have to watch this show anymore.

no reason to keep it.

it's depressing and sad mostly, there are a few gems here and there, but in retrospect, not worth saving.
