I can't even tell you how bitter the Emmy nominations made me, but I'm pretty sure most of you can imagine. So instead of whining, I'll just giggle at my new icon and stare at pretty

Veronica Mars got completely ignored in the Emmy nods as well. Of course. Morons. I've learned not to expect much after they ignored Oz during its run.

For some reason, I thought VM would get something. There's so much buzz around that show. But nope, they got nada. (I'm still holding out for the S1 VM DVDs, so I'm out of the loop. And now I'll have to tape the first episodes of S2, because the DVDs aren't being released until October. Wah!)

I knew Meloni wouldn't get one and I knew MH would. But it still pisses me off. Grr. Back to staring at the pretty men...

Now that I look at it actually on display, I'm feeling rediculously pleased with myself. I rock, and so does the ASS. How can you go wrong with such.. perfection. And I just found a Logan -Weevil screencap .. so off to make some much needed VM hoyay icons.

I have to admit it's pretty unfair that MH gets nominated again (for a season where she largely seemed to be running on fumes and doing too much of the unpretty crying, but then you know the award people love the crying)and CM doesn't. And it's puzzling too...I thought they were pushing CM for an Emmy nod with his work on the unStabler arc, culminating in the Matthew Modine ep (the title of which I now forget). Baby's confuzzled!

The episode you're thinking of is "Rage," and it seems clear the idiots did not submit it. I'm not sure why, since it was the best episode of the season, and probably the best SVU episode since "Loss." And it practically had "For Emmy consideration" written in the opening credits.

I don't know. I realize they aren't competing in the same category, and there is much tougher competition in the Male Drama Lead race. But it still burns me that MH got a nod and CM didn't. And even worse, considering the other nominees in her category, she might actually win.

I need to go stare at the AoL again...

I knew CM wouldn't get nominated, but it still bugged when it happened. Especially because MH got one, and I just don't think she deserved it. It's true that her ability to get nominations proves the lack of good dramatic roles for women, but that just makes it worse!

The snubbing of the UPN/WB brigade is ridiculous. I hope VM can break through next year, if the quality holds up. (Not that I've seen the show - I'm waiting for the DVDs.)
