The extremely talented and generous Womblyfriend volunteered her comic-making skills as part of an auction to raise money for a bunch of LT fans who are doing the the Race for the cure. I was the lucky winner of her talents, and she made incredible, wonderful illustrated pages like this one, to go along with DNR, the Stabler/Beecher crossover fic I posted ( Read more... )

oh that is so cool. That is really, *really* cool. Gorgeous. (and i recognise LT in the Criminal Intent episode!). But I like the falling martini glass. It's just things like that which *make* a comic.

I recognized the Criminal Intent scene, too. Great choice by Wombly. And I loved the martini glass. You're right - it is those little things that make it feel like a real comic.

Yes, it's incredible. It still makes me smile madly to look at them. I love this auction idea. Pay a little money, and get talented people to write and draw for you.

Hee - I was saving up, baby. Though I should have said "procure." "Procure" just implies naughtiness.

Sadly, I can't imagine the members of the SVU fandom ever agreeing on a cause. Except maybe to get MH a haircut!

Oh, and I feel I must confess, even if it means you won't do my bidding someday, that I've been taking your name in vain. There's been a lot of talk on TWoP and LJ about Molita fics, and I have made a few references to yours. But I don't think I ever replies to it directly, so I feel sort of deceptive. I never replied directly because, despite your usual beautiful writing, I have an intense dislike of the subject matter. But I didn't like the feeling of talking behind your back, so there you have it.

Hope you'll still let me pay you to do my bidding someday :)

See, you can appreciate them even more than I, because you draw, too. I'm in awe of anyone who can.
