Yes, it's a Monday holiday and i'm up earlier than on a working Monday. Well, technically, I still haven't gone to sleep, so that's celebratory, I guess. I'm watching the USA SVU marathon, which is chock-full of episodes from the Glory Days. Ah, an SVU marathon. Just the thing to distract me from writing FLP's. Freaking Lesson Plans, that is. Thank goodness it's Season 3! It's even the proto-unStabler arc, in original production code order!!! Rooftop-Redemption-Monogamy. Sigh. Remember back when there was such a thing as subtlety?

I agree about the favorite Huang scene at the end of "Inheritance." I actually like him in that scene. I like him a little in "Monogamy," too. Don't tell anybody.

Exactly why I contrasted the "spent the night in the city" line with Olivia's ridiculously over-the-top line from this season. They are just incapable of subtlety these days.

Oh, I loathe him in Monogamy. I guess he's okay in the interrogation scene, but his whole "cuckolding" explanation makes no sense. And it's even more annoying because Elliot reacts to it for some bizarre reason, yet later we find out there IS no cuckolding going on. Plus, I just hate the word.

Phew. I feel better.

Oh, I loathe him in the "cuckolding" scene, too. I like him in the interrogation, and I like him when Cragen tells him to come along to the search. For whatever goofy reason, his delivery of "OK" just cracks me up.

School starts tomorrow. Sigh. I've got to wake up seven and a half hours earlier than I've been waking up.

SVU is back here too. Isn't that poetic? "Here" is South Africa, BTW. I am of the optinion that I'm the only SA on LJ. None of my SA friends want anything to do with it, silly buggers.

Don't know which season of SVU we're watching. We've just had an ep where a rape victim disappears and her accused is found to be on a witness protection programme.

I wanna see season seven!!
