I think my plan for this episode is to mute the TV immediately after he tells her she has lost her mind, and just spend the rest of the episode basking in the momentary wonder of that absolute, perfect, crystal-clarity and truth of that line.

And watch the silent picture for Teh Pretty, of course.

I just can't stay up to watch Teh Drama anymore and I'm too lazy to record it.

I miss Seasons 2-4.

Overall, I have not been enjoying this season of SVU and it looks like I am only going to get more and more annoyed as each episode airs. ARGGGGG

But yes, this season has been ultra-annoying. And if Benson doesn't soon get the smackdown she so richly deserves, it's only going to get even harder to keep watching.

You're so rigt about the canonization of Oliska.

I just started seeing S. 2 ( my DVD arrived a few days ago ).
As I saw 'Babykiller', where Elliot handles so beautifully the boy who had shoot his little colleague, I thought that nowadays, he wouldn't be allowed to do it.
Only St. Oliska knows how to deal with the vics and the children, now.

Yes, yes, yes - Elliot does a great job dealing with kids. In that episode, and in so many others. But now, it's as if Oliska is the only cop on the entire NYPD who can handle a child in crisis. So annoying!

Glad you got the S2 DVDs, though. That was a very good year : )

Hi hi hi!! I know I've been scarce, but I've been reading. I love keeping up with your journal, but I have been feeling not-so-funny lately, so I heven't been replying. Though I had about 20 things I wanted to talk about in the Grammar Pet Peeves post!

Also, why does LJ not send e-mail notification of comments anymore? Are they trying to make me crazy?
