It's from Queer As Folk. Not sure if you get that in France. General consensus is that the British version is better, but I prefer the US show. Basically because of another BK, lol - Brian Kinney - who is on top in that particular icon.
I thought of you while watching the Olympics last night, Aline. They talked about the shot put competition, which is being held at the site of the first Olympics. I'm sure you've read and heard about it, as well.
Anyway, the typically juvenile American commentators couldn't stop giggling about the athletes competing in the nude. Made me think of your story.
Which I owe you a review for... I loved Chris and Toby (using their modern names, sorry!) running side by side, stride by stride.
I know QAF - I actually preferred the UK version but I have to admit I never managed to get hooked by it. :(
I watched the shot put competition; it was...strange. People sitting on the grass, yelling; quite different from what it usually is. maybe the performances weren't quite as good but I found that really moving!
Why am I not reading that thread? More importantly, why am I not watching the Olympics?
Well, I tried to watch, but every time I turn it on, they're showing table tennis or some other sport that does not include scantily-clad men and women. Bah!
Warning, spacedog, the thread is beyond addictive. Also, it is dominated by pics of pretty boys more than pretty girls. But people are trying to even the scales.
Actually, it's dominated by pics of Thorpe and Phelps. Neither of whom meet my definition of pretty - above the neck. But the bodies.
Umm, yeah. Must think work-appropriate thoughts. Starting now. Really.

Oh, and NBC coverage is horrible. Check out the NBC and announcer TWoP threads. The snark is flying.
