Hell yeah! I still don't believe what I saw last night! Boston must be giddy chaos this morning. How many people are showing up at work with hangovers? How many people are showing up at work at all? I hope y'all are having plenty of fun. :D
Maybe I'll be having a little fun of my own tonight.
It's a fun day in Boston, no question. Everyone is thrilled but exhausted. I just asked my co-worker if one could be chirpy and tired, and she looked around the office and said, "I think so!"
And, yeah, a few of us straggled in a little later than usual.
Johnny is the man this AM in Boston. I've always found him strangely appealing. But in context. Not sure if I sat next to him on the bus, the appeal would still be there.
What ESRUC???? Heh.
Heehee. Fun with words.
Hey - are you moving to California or just visiting? I saw you talking about that on your LJ - I should just go there and ask you, but I'm shy ;)
Come to my LJ...the only people that reply to me now are a bunch of friends from a writing group I'm involved in. They don't bite. They just lick mostly.
And I'm moving to California. For goodness knows how long. Probably a year. Or until I marry Matt Damon, whichever. :D
And there's the classic, with A-Rod slapping the ball away with one hand and a purse on his other arm. Normally, I despise that type of gender-slamming, but I can't help myself, it makes me giggle.
The newspaper covers have been going around here all morning. Man, I thought the Boston press was brutal. Ouch.
The purse graphic just made its way around my work about an hour ago. I normally don't find that stuff funny, but I admit, I laughed, and I think it's because of the expression on A-Rod's face. At that moment, he looks like a little old lady.

Also, Jim Edmonds, I love you!

Go, Cardinals! Meet you in St. Louis.
After we win two at Fenway, of course :)

This one is a good pick-me-up.
