That would be the headline if I were the editor of the Globe or any other paper. Or maybe "The Year of the Idiots." All the talk of the Red Sox being idiots always bothered me a little, because I generally don't like to celebrate ignorance. I've been trying to find things to laugh about, but I haven't managed to turn the corner yet. I still get depressed and angry if I think too much.

Yes, that's Shakespeare, but really, it reminds me of a line from "Poison Rose," which makes me think of Lucky, which makes me think of JJ, which makes me remember that he's a Republican, which makes me want to cry.

So, instead, I'll think about you, off on your California adventure. I hope things are a spectacular success so far, KL.

And if you see JJ, try to sex slap some sense into him!
