Oh, Ana Paula, I can't wait until you get to see this one. I'll do a better recap later, but we got the full gamut of Elliot emotionally: bitter, angry, defeated, hopeful, tender, homicidal, paternal, sympathetic

Holy fucking god, I just enjoyed that episode. I enjoyed a season six episode. Mostly for shallow reasons, yes, but still... the enjoyment! It was there!

I need that icon! Someone made it for you, no? I need someoen to make me an OT3 icon. I'll use it until the Reunion!
But man, what a great show. After so much bitching on TWoP today, from me and everyone else, about Olivia and Elliot and their foibles, it was such a treat to have a non-character-assassinating, skintastic episode.
You know, I find those comments to be so annoying. Sheez, the guy's what, 43? Give him a break. I think he looks healthy and strong, and oh-so-yummy. :-)
I actually really liked the scene with Kathleen too -- and boy could that have been awful. I feel like writing the Weasels and going: See! You can do it without beating us over the head! Do it more often!
Can you believe I didn't tape this episode? I've fallen out of the habit, how could I have suspected we'd get *this* after the rest of this season? ::sigh::

Look at us, discussing the actual substance of the show!
I really dreaded the scene, mostly for the way it would be perceived, since so many people loathe the Stabler family scenes. I really don't mind them, usually. But I felt perfectly justified enjoying this one - it was subtle and underplayed by both CM and the Fakeleen.
I adored the way Meloni's voice was sort of rough and catchy, but determined. Stabler was scared, and you could feel it.
He had a lot of chances to show his emotional range, and he hit them all out of the park.

His rack isn't as big as Olivia's but it's still pretty damn good.
Yup - he's rackalicious!
