Forced sabbatical

I finally had to take my poor Powerbook to the "Geniusbar" at the Apple store. (That moniker almost makes me want to go out and by a PC. Almost.) Sadly, none of the self-proclaimed Einsteins could fix the damned thing, so they had to send it away. I won't get it back for five-seven days, and I'm already a mess. Using my old iMac is like going ( Read more... )

You're doing the kink & cliche challenge as well? Same here!

I'm obviously writing for SVU but I have no idea if I'm gonna try a Stabler/Sandoval piece I've been thinking about or go with the A/O plot bunny that has been circulating in my head since the one-bed-hotel-room scene from ghost.

Anyway, always good to have a partner in crime where these challenges are concerned.

Good luck!

*sniff* I've never been separated from my Powerbook. I'm not sure how I'd take it, frankly. Heh, my backup machine is my old iBook -- the orange one! It looks kinda like a giant LiveSaver now. *g*

Happy birthday! ::waves::

(Sorry for the randomness... saw happy-birthday wishes for you from Nic, Heather and holyinnocent, and you're enough of a fixture around the SVU fandom that I figured I'd comment.)

Aww, thanks! That was very cool of you. And I'm a fixture, huh? That sounds dangerously... establishment!

Love your icon, btw. And I think, from wandering around LJ the other night, I determined that you're the author of "Cabin Fever." Is that true? Because I've complimented the fic on TWoP but never directly to you. So a belated apology and "great job!" Good luck with the rest of it. If it's not your story, then you should read it :)

I am, actually, the author of "Cabin Fever". I was quite quite flattered when you said you liked it on TWoP, since I know from observing your other comments that you actually do give constructive criticism, rather than all praise. I was kind of freaked out when I started posting that story, since it's so, uh, non-canon, so it was really neat to have Discerning ReadersTM enjoy it. Thanks!
