I don't know if Heather will regale you with the torture that was Airborne Express letting someone steal her laptop before she picked it up from a repair job at Dell, but they actually had it at their depot, called her, and then promptly didn't know where it was. They never did find it and Dell replaced the laptop because she told them she had a business and was losing serious money because Airborne Express are losers.

I'm becoming quite disenchanted with the SVU fandom as it just seems to be spiralling faster and faster to Fandom Hell. Heather and I were talking about how we think the Casey love is coming from the newbies who don't really have a frame of reference for the older seasons (despite watching reruns) and just take Casey as "The ADA" as we took Alex way back in Season 2.

I've been really unimpressed with the L Word this season. Though so long as they keep Jenny from writing, I'll be okay ;)

Oh, my - Heather wins, er loses, with that story. I was really afraid they'd lost mine, and I was going to be so very bummed. Even though I would have gotten a brand new, shiny one, I would always wonder who out there had mine. And all my things.

I always hesitate to make "real" fan assessments (well, I hesitate to do it publicly, hee) but I have noticed that the C/E and C/O lovers are people who never seemed interested in SVU fic/drabbles before ( ... )

Hee, you're cute when you're cranky. :-) I'm glad the beloved is back and in good health at least.

And yes, DHL/Airborne suck big time. I had a lot of fun snarking about just that fact in the little Jason Cramer story I wrote for Oz Magi. Airborne will screw you every time. *g*

As for the Casey love, yeah I dunno where that's coming from either. Except tennybopper newbies? And dude, FF.net is bad for your health -- step away from the badfic!

OMG - Cramer and the head! DHL/Airborne really does suck! Though bringing him to Oz was a favor of sorts. His scene with Schillinger, when he won't stop smooching with his prison beau, is one of my all-time Oz favorites. (Well, non-Keller favorites, lol.)

I always wanted someone to write it so that he was really the one who killed Keller's college boys. Though I do have my own take on that, which pops into my head often...

Down with the teenybopper newbies and badfic! And the two do go hand in hand. Thanks for the reminder! Every now and then, I need an intervention.

Hee - that would be so much funnier if it weren't so close to a real post on MH's official board.

And C/E is just an abomination. I sincerely hope we never, ever, and I mean not ever, see it on the show. I have to believe the producers know she's a lost cause, and that having Elliot sleep with her would be a literal fucking disaster.

Make the bad images stop!

Apple customer service really, really sucks. (I have an iPod, and daily I pray for the thing to have a looooong healthy life so that I do not have to deal w/Apple EVAR again.) You have my sympathy. But I'm glad the "Geniuses" could fix your baby.

Also, please read this and tell me I'm not the only person who thought that the title was going to refer to something other than mustard.

omg, it wasn't some golden showers scenario, was it? (I couldn't bear to read it.) Or were E & O in the tropics and got jaundiced? I know it's hard to come up with a good title, but really!

I don't get all the Casey love either. Maybe these dorky teenage girls share a profound identification w/Casey b/c she is really on the same mental/intellectual level?

Finally, the L Word. It's a confounding show. It's a frustrating show. The lengths I go to, just to see women having sex with each other: Sitting through bad dialogue, wasted guest appearances, excruciating dream sequences, and bewildering, seemingly arbitrary character development and action. (Not to ( ... )

I love my iPod! We got them as holiday presents a couple of years ago from my company. Then I decided to play beneficent aunt and get them for my niece and nephews. Two of the four had issues; one dealt with promptly, the other my nephew, the GENIUS, had to figure out on his own. For a company trying to build a unique culture, they don't have a clue about certain things.

Hee! Golden shower was my first thought, then I really cringed at the idea that it would be the most offensive title ever for an Olivia/Huang fic. But it really was just about Olivia watching Elliot open a packet of honey mustard. Which is, in fact, not really all that yellow, but more a... honey mustard color! Also, licking mustard is so not appealing.

God save me.

MUSTARD? Oh dear God! Condiment sex = bad. (although if it had been about Huang/Olivia that would have been EVEN WORSE...not just the pairing, but the racist tone of the title.)

But no, it still bothers me. And god forgive me, how Tina became the sexual center of the show, I'll never understand.

[tinyvoice]I kinda like Tina...well, I think she's hot, at any rate.[/tv] She has acted like a dink IRT the whole Bette situation, though.

the lack of good lesbian sex seemed to be bothering me more than it did the actual, you know, L-people

Hahahaha...now that's concern! :)

I agree with the lack of actual lesbian sex...it really bugged me in the first season, with the whole Tim-and-Jenny show...at this point the only thing I remember about s1 is Tim's ass. Oy.

Well, we'll see how this Jenny thing plays out. We're all manipulated to a certain extent by the shows we watch, but when it's so blatant, it's hard, at least for me, to buy it.

Too bad you missed last week's House. MUCH better than this week's. Last week was so cute, with House going to her apartment twice to beg her to come back. Cameron bugs me too. But I'd like to see House have a love interest, because you know it won't go well and it'll be a heck of a lot of fun. I really like Sela Ward too -- that should be interesting. I heard Hugh Laurie actually asked her to join the show so they should have some good chemistry. And her dying husband is played by Currie Graham, who was so good as the last lieutenant on NYPD Blue.

I guess it felt too early and too creepy to initiate this love interest. and I just don't think I'll ever get over House buying her a freaking corsage. And her not mocking him for it.

Love your icon, btw - his eyes are really beautiful.

The corsage was so -- well, "lame"! But I, too, like lame!

RE: icon: Thanks a lot. I have to do a CM icon that highlights his eyes. I've done a couple with Lee but you have to get just the right picture.
