You know, prostitute fic usually doesn't interest me in the slightest, but Keller is one of the few I could really see it working for. The other being Sark for some reason.

Oh shit. :frantically barricades brain from plot bunnies:

Ha! Sark could so be a male escort. And I've never really contemplated prostitute fic bit it's pretty much been all I can think of for 24 hours...

Keller and Sark could have a joint agency - appealing to all ends of the spectrum. Silk and Leather/Sark and Keller. Sounds like a nursery rhyme gone horribly awry.

I *lurve* hooker fic but only the guy/guy kind.
I don't think I'd enjoy any other kind myself! So make room for another hypocrite. Hee.

I know I've read Quicksand but I can't remember it. I'll have to check it out.

Oh, and speaking of writing... *pokes back*

Actually, I know you've been busy doing other things :) And I am just now realizing I forgot to respond to your post-Doll journal entry. Bad me.

Okay, I've been trying *forever* to find this "Rough Trade" that you speak of. Is there any way that you could link to it for me because I've heard nothing but raves regarding it and I really want to read it.

You can find "Rough Trade" on the C5 Archive. Just scroll down on that little window in the center of the page until you find "Fanny Adams." You'll have to pull up her author page and then dig around for each part of the story (I believe there are nine parts, total). Here's a direct link to part 1, though:

Hmmmm. I don't know you but I believe that I would like to have your babies.

[adds you to long list of people I wish I was sleeping with]

There are so many reasons to want to have Dori (callmerizzo)'s babies. She's one of the best Oz writers out there. See for yourself!

I envy you reading Rough Trade for the first time. I hope you enjoy it.

Oddly enough, "I Don't Know How to Love Him" was the song inspiration for one of my own fics ("First Time for Everything"), but sadly, it wasn't a Keller!ForHire! story. And I say "sadly" because the idea of Keller as a hooker is so incredibly delicious that I now have to take some alone time to go ponder the thought for a while. *g* "Rough Trade" is the only one I can think of, but there really, REALLY, ought to be more.

Ah, but I wouldn't change anything about "First Time For Everything." In fact, I might have to go back and read it, with the song in mind.

I'm so glad others found the Keller/hooker idea as appealing as I do. And you're right, there should be more!

Dori, I do hope this idea of Keller as a hooker gets some plot bunny
jumping.

By the way, is it OK if I friend you ?

Oh yes, that's one of my favorite songs for the guys, and I love your idea of them singing it as a duet. I go back and forth on which one of them makes the best fit for it, and think that's a good thing.

As for Keller as a pro, well, that's part of his past in my Stake universe stories, and will figure fairly importantly in the rest of my AU, "Summer in the City," when I finally get around to finishing that up.

I thought of it as a duet, because some of the lyrics definitely fit the way Toby is or would be feeling during S2. But then I love the idea of Keller as a Mary Magdalene type. It really does just fit them so well, especially the parts in the play before she sings it, when she's trying to help JC sleep.

You know I can't wait to read more of any/everything you write, but particularly "Summer in the City." Yay.
