I actually was thinking that it seemed a little weak for 6 but definitely too good for 5, so 3+Potion might be appropriate.
That sounds ridiculously expensive for what it does--I would make that cost more like 3 or maybe 4 (for instance, compare it to Watchtower: is it significantly better? I'm not convinced it's even better than Watchtower at all; Watchtower is a good card even when there are no attacks.). What I had in mind though wouldn't block the attack, it would just also make it affect the attacker.
Oh also it's "Shapeshifter" because it can be lots of different standard cards--a Silver (+2$ +1 Action), a Village, a Laboratory, a Woodcutter, a Peddler, and other variations that aren't actually cards. For what it's worth, I suspect that well over half the time it would just be used as a Lab; there's a reason Lab costs more than all those other cards. That's why I think it's kind of lame for $6 and is more like a slightly better Lab variant, like Alchemist.
Another way to fix it if it's too weak is to remove the restriction on at most 2 of any one choice, but I feel like then it might just be too clearly better than a Gold.
Either choose an attack card and play it twice, or play this card as a treasure with the same value as the highest treasure you have played in this round --- Whenever any player plays an attack, you may reveal this card. The attack then affects the player who played it, but not you. However, the original attacker may then show a Magic mirror themself (if they had not played it already), in which case the attack still affects you, rather than them, and it does so twice. You can then show yet another magic mirror and ...
