As always I'm sending good thoughts for T.J., his wife and son and of course for you. I still will never understand the whole Iraq thing and how they can send an only child off to war. It's not right to send anyone's child, but an only child is unforgiveable.
He's strong because he's got his mom's grit and strength for life and that will help him through the next months.
Do you want some help sending some support to your son? Care packages, stuff like that? I don't have a soldier right now (I usually adopt one) and miss doing it.
That would be wonderful..and I know that he would certainly appreciate it. He isn't scheduled to return home until at least November. When I get his final mail address I will post it.
Wow, that's a lot to go on in a short time. I will keep my thoughts with you and your son. Please let us know if there's anything he (or you, for that matter) need to get through his deployment, OK? I have a good friend who did a tour over there and it's not easy, I know.
