ah, I'm still not sure where I stand on this whole Carr situation. I have some problems with his conservative approach. But then he's contributed a lot to the program. I guess I'll keep supporting him if he decides to stay.
I will to a point, because he does bring a lot of great talent in. But at the same time, his tactics are old, and pathetically predictable. He really needs to change it up or step down for someone who will bring change.
Michigan is no longer the top dog and can't win on talent alone anymore. In order to compete with USC, Texas, Florida, and Ohio State, Michigan needs fresh tactics to go along with that talent.
you're so right. We do need fresh blood in the system! In my opinion, part of the reason we're keeping him is because we value tradition, and we want a Michigan man to be the coach rather than some outsider, and I understand that. But then, I dont believe its a Michigan tradition to perform under the par year in and year out. And lets not forget that Bo, a legendary Michigan man, went to grad school at Ohio States and was once an Assistant coach there as well.
