And so it came to pass that I twisted my foot badly while walking about downstairs yesterday evening. And I've been hopping around on one leg all day and nursing the bandaged appendage and OD-ing on analgesics.

And I get to miss proto.in. Drat, drat and double drat!

I use yahoo 360 and i definitely sucks big time .. the blogger beta is pretty good in my opinion. But if you want to spend, register a domain and install wordpress or use typepad. People seem to be pretty happy with typepad.

Typepad was my first choice too, but most of the advanced features are out of reach in the Pro account. Hosting Wordpress myself is out of the question. Will decide between wordpress.com and blogger.com.

I have been using wordpress for 2 months now.. These are the good things that I like about wordpress:

1. akismet rules(catches all comments spam).. I love this feature..
2. you can buy your own domain name and pay 10 dollars per year to wordpress to change from yourname.wordpress.com to yourdomain.com..
you get the convenience of your own domain without the worries of web hosting..
they have other good upgrade options too..
3. good themes.
4. I dont like to associate my google id with everything I do..
5. not sure but I think most of the features in blogger beta have been in wordpress for a long time now..

The 4th point is my personal view..

I've started to tilt towards WP too. Have fun in Chennai and let me know how proto.in was. Will call you up sometime next week.
