Hey.. my friend Kayla and I are in the process of looking for a place right now. She's from Connecticut, so she obviously would like to move here ASAP so she can pay in-state tuition. We both plan on staying in the area for a looooong long time (yay grad school!). So, what was the deal with the kitty? Not allowed? I have a cat myself, so that's been a minor issue in finding a place as people are not always thrilled about pets. I'd love to talk to you further about this.. I'll call you tomorrow (or you can email me: u_everni@umassd.edu).
Yeah, the landlord doesn't allow pets at all. At first we were thinking of just trying to hide the cat, but then decided it wasn't worth the risk.
The place we live right now (South Winds) DOES allow pets and it's a pretty awesome place. I know they have some 2 bedrooms open. The rent is $460 a month and all utilities are included (which is awesome). Plus the apartments are pretty awesome.
It's in North Fall River (Right near Freetown) and is walking distance from a supermarket, 2 bars, 3 chinese food restaurants, 2 pizza places etc. It's pretty spiffy. You should check this place out.
