Even those of us who have had it "figured out" for a while still have a shitty time of it. I've worked hard for -5- years with college and such, and now I can't even find anything better then a $20,000 job which I could have gotten WITHOUT all the school. So don't feel so bad, almost everyone who lives in the real world goes through this sorta stuff. A lucky few have things just workout. Besides, most of the people I know who have successful careers are doing something totally different then they started out doing. My friend Adam has a music degree and now he's teaching website development at a high school... go figure!

Hey, there's always grad school, where you really can go for something completely different. My uncle has his undergrad in psych, and just got his master's in business management, my younger sister is getting her undergrad in English and plans on doing a grad in social work....so you can always change your mind!

I guess i would fall under the "got it all figured out catagory" but to be honest i doubt myself aaaallll the time. I wonder "will i be able to make this interesting for my students or will i just become the math teacher that is easy to get by with and is just really strange"

You chose a very hard but virtous path and that takes courage. Not everyone would chose it because it is difficult. But you are an amazingly strong woman who could out-stubborn the most unruley cow or ox ive ever met. And you have a heart of gold. You will find your place in this world. And who said doing daycare is bad? You obviously love it and your good at it. No sense in trying to do it as a career later on. Not work for the daycare but make it. You have the heart and the guts to take that challenge on. I will always have faith in you sweetie!

Love you and ill be sure to visit you - even if it is just to get a tattoo! =P

So, Don't worry about not having it figured out. I spent 2 years at Plattsburgh State Studying Political Science and then like the cool kid I am I decided to leave college cause political science is not as fun to study as it should have been and Plattsburgh is boring as hell. So, I move out of my apartment and came back home where I live in the basement and do nothing. I am waiting for my love to graduate and come down state, but who the heck even knows if that is going to happen.
So I don't think you have anything to worry about. You're doing great! :)
