And UBW movie... I'm dreading it, but want to watch it too... Too much bad comments about it around.

I'm not sure exactly what the masks you want look like, but I remember the costume shop in Columbus, OH- (can't remember the name XD) Had all sorts of masks, but they might have been more masquerade-ish than you want.

So Lee wants to be a plauge doctor, huh? Typical, their masks are so scary and weird, haha. I've seen some really nice steampunk adaptations of those in the past. I hope you guys have a good Halloween^^

Yep, Lee wants to be a plague doctor. Ironically, their masks look like crows, which are carrion birds. Now that must have been a comforting sight.

Urg I know! Haha, can you imagine seeing that come up to you while you're dying >< The reasoning behind those huge beaks is pretty cool though, they thought it would draw the sickness from the air and keep them from contracting it. I guess you could call them the first hazmat suits

That's what I thought they were used for. I mean they are some giant mask with a narrow airway. Like you said, they probably thought it would draw the sickness from the air to keep them well. How well did this work, probably not so much.
