So my cat has a urinary tract infection. We got antibiotics in pill for him. Anyone who's ever had a cat knows this is an impossible task

So did you finally figure out how to give your cat its pill? If not, let me know and I'll give you directions. :P~

we held him tight and shoved the thing down his throat, and followed it up with treats to make sure it was swallowed. It worked this time at least.

Here's a suggestion: Wrap your cat in a towel with just his head sticking out. This works better with 2 people. One holds the cat in a towel, the other presses on his jaw near the hinges, which forces it open. Pop the pill in, hold his mouth closed. Then rub his throat till you feel him swallow. It works just about every time.
