Knitting these was frustrating. It was a very simple pattern (that I had mostly invented myself), but somehow nothing seemed to turn out like I had imagined. And it took me quite a while to get used to the yarn. It's not too difficult to knit, but it's... well... fluffy! But in the end I was pretty happy with how they turned out anyway.
Right now I'm making gloves (eep! fingers!) and I've finished one mitten and experimented a bit with the scarf I'm making for nirith.
Tomorrow I need to get back to my studies again. I've been thinking that I should post more about what I'm studying. Not to whine about how I'd rather be doing something else, but to write about the interesting stuff. I think I need to keep reminding myself that I have a fascinating topic for my thesis and that I actually like thinking about these things. But not now. It's still Sunday, and I'm allowed to keep my brain turned off for a little while longer and go back to knitting and watching Death Note
