Question: Automatic Payments?

I just got an email from lj telling me that they'll charge my visa card in a few days. I got really mad about that because I'm pretty sure I told them I didn't want automatic payments last time they tried to press it on me. I even started writing an angry email about how I'm not at all happy that this option has been turned on without my knowledge

They did that to me, too. (About a year ago.) It's bullshit. :(

That sucks! :( But at least it means that I didn't suddenly go crazy at some point and decide that having money randomly taken away from me would be a good idea. I think I'll go and send them that angry email now.

They really shouldn't be able to do that!! I thought that's illegal... But then, I'm sure they know what they are doing, legally speaking.

No, they really shouldn't. But well, there's no way I can prove that I didn't choose the automatic payment option myself, so I suppose their asses are covered. :(
