Biting the Bullet

As I've begun to tell several of you, I've finally biting the proverbial bullet tomorrow. Er, I guess it's today, technically. But either way, I'm ordering myself an Xbox 360. I know about all of the issues and I've done a lottttt of fucking research to hopefully help prevent the Red Rings of Death and the overheating issues. We'll see if it works

The recent models of the 350 have had the heating issue virtually resolved. But as for RRD, I honestly have never heard of it. Nor have I ever seen the problem whilst running my 360 for nearly 48 hours straight in order ot max out my athletics in Oblivion.

Even during that marathon of running endlessly into a wall my 360 didn't have any heat/screen freeze/processing/electrical issues.

If you are going to order one though I would recommend getting the Xbox 360 Elite. It has a MUCH larger hard drive (the 20 gigs on the premium is seemingly worthless and it fills up way to fast). Also it is more energy efficient. It both costs less on energy bills and and has a better conducting alloy to help procces the energy. Plus it looks spiffy. =D

I recently had to trade in my 360 for some cash due to my job being a dirty whore but I am getting an elite pretty soon. I am also looking forward to some of the recent and upcoming games. Good choice Zan.
