every year i wait until the end of december so i can utilize the counting crows' "long december" in a sensical manner, but something always comes up and i forget. this leaves me to start the new year off in a state of disappointment because i realize what i've done (yet again) and that i'll have to wait another year (yet again). I understand what you mean about Long December, because I always feel that about The New Year, and I never listen to it after midnight. I actually listen to long december more during the year, especially when I'm feeling a big change coming on.

Being more adventurous is one of my life goals in general, clearly we were made for each other.
