If anyone is looking for a course to take this summer, the Art History department is offering ARTH200 in both the Summer I and Summer II sessions.  ARTH200 is the first half of the department's survey of Western Art, covering prehistory through the 13th century, and fulfills the HA distribution requirement for CORE.  Plus it's a pretty fun course, ( Read more... )

I take it you mean HL or HO? If you needed an HA I'd say to take ARTH200!

Off the top of my head I only have a few recommendations. For HL, don't take CLAS170 expecting to breeze through. It's a very good class but is the difficulty of a 300 or 400-level course.

For HO, AMST211 (Technology and American Culture) looks interesting. I used to be in a honors program with the instructor, Patrick Grzanka, and he's a great teacher (extremely smart too). It's an online-only course though, not sure what to make of that.

Ah.

I need History of Arts or Art History or whatever it's called.
I think I have pretty much all the cores other than that, but I haven't come across anything I'd want to take.

And the honors seminars they offer are like, African American musical culture...or Japanese Silk Road (if I may add- Japan did not have a silk road), which my roommate took, and hated.

So I'm kind of at a loss at the moment.

And I'm not too sure I can take an online course...haha.
