Seattle is a two newspaper town, a relatively unique position for a smallish metropolitan area. I'm going to have a low-key celebration, today. My plan is to spend most of it on the Wii, and I think I'd also like to tackle Volume Two of the Sunshine Sketch (Hidamari Sketch) manga. Perhaps I'll mess about with some coding. Dinner's going to be a nod to the Pastafarians: spaghetti.

I made a mushroom and garlic scramble for lunch, to enjoy while viewing the newly-snowy landscape. The first egg I cracked, one I selected for being unusually large, contained a double yolk. It put me in mind of an old joke about Sunday school ( Read more... )

Here we are as usual, weather once again creeping in to dominate my journal entries. It looks like the local news outlets are finally starting to look around and notice that the snow level is something like 150 miles high. No mountain snow equals no water.
