Nanny died this morning. It was early, around like 7 or 8 am. I can't really remember what my mom told me. That means the funeral will be in Kentucky on Sat. the 19th. I'm going home this weekend to be with my family. I'm trying hard not to cry, but the tears keep welling up. Hey, at least Matt doesn't have to drive out here to see me after

Awww, sweetie, I am so sorry to hear this. Give your mom a hug for me. Nanny had a good life, and she is at peace now. It will be difficult, but let yourself cry it out. And then go eat something.

I am deeply sorry to hear about this, but as you say she no longer feels the pain. This is never an easy time, no matter how at ease you may or may not be with it all.
