Mostly for my reference, my way of keeping Portugal's personality straight in my head, etc etc. NOW WITH 100% MORE TL;DR.

Okay so this going to sound totally random, but I swear to God I'm not a stalker or anything. I just saw you commenting on a dear_mun post and thought I'd give you a poke about something: Mamãe is a Brazilian Portuguese term, while European Portuguese uses Mãe (=Mom) or Mamã (=Mommy). Mamãe is a very, very Brazilian away of addressing your Mom, so I thought I'd let you know.

akdhaskjd okay this comment is probably the weirdest thing ever, BUT. I just thought you'd want to know that, because you got the Portuguese personality as a whole really well (I'm Portuguese, can you tell >__>), specially the bits about the melancholy, the I'M-NOT-SPAIN-GODDAMNIT part, the Fado, the pride and the stubbornness. I could point out other things that I found particularly awesome, but I'd be quoting pretty much all of the info above, so yes ( ... )

No, it doesn't sound random or weird at all! Seriously, this is the sort of comment I would kill for on an HMD (and I should really get one of those up, shouldn't I?) That's a really big help, actually - I'm relying mostly on Wordreference for my Portuguese-fu but I have a suspicion that (like a lot of things on the net it seems) it's mostly based on Brazilian Portuguse, and since I'm a stickler for detail, knowing stuff like that is a huge help to me, so thank you!

Also asbfhkadgs oh god thank you for the comment on his personality. I just. It's seriously awesome to hear that I'm vaguely doing it right, especially from someone who's from the country itself. So thank you a lot!
