Of Herbs and Blu-Rays
So Friday I took an early day off at work and hit the flower market at the National Cathedral. I brought home a bunch of goodies and now have my herb garden ready for the season:
Rather proud of that myself, rosemary, parsley, basil, lavender, etc. I thought I'd also post a picture of the view from my balcony, welcome to Washington DC:
Today I was rather productive, ran out early to get my spring highlights and a new haircut... a sorta bob this time. I kinda like it! I then hit Target to buy a couple of birthday presents... and... well, I was terribly bad. I got me a new Blu-Ray DVD player on a whim. So bad! But I must say, the up conversion works wonderfully (had to test it out with Doctor Who of course). Although I must give Sony a big huge "booooo!" for packaging up their Blu-Rays with analog cables. What gives Sony?? Short bus much? It took me near 2 hrs to reconnect everything, so I thought I'd share the new entertainment system set up:
I'm also a bit sad about the lack of feedback for the recent vid, I guess because I was rather proud of it. I should be used to quiet reception to vids I suppose. Anywho, I just started the Doctor Who dl, will have the link up shortly...
