Doctor's Daughter, Questions

May 10, 2008 18:37

I enjoyed this episode a lot more after I watched the confidential, as is the case with most episodes. But one nagging thing is still on my mind and I was hoping to get your thoughts on this. Namely, the pointing of the gun.

We are all aware of the Doctor's dislike for weapons. The confidential mentions his use of pointing the gun at the general's head in order to make a point, this just does not seem like my Doctor. Just does not compute. When he has no choice but to use force, he does it. The Doctor does not bluff when it comes to using weapons. I could have seen him pick up the gun, that would have been scary enough of an action for the Doctor, but to actually point the gun... just having problems with it.

And one naggy issue, in the confidential we hear that the Hath actually had lines. I'm perplexed why the Tardis did not translate for them. Weird.

Ah well, that is all for my naggy Doctor Who thoughts. Tomorrow I hope to post another new SCC vid I've been working on. Now I'm off to show up late (as usual) for a birthday party. TTFN! :)
