Yep, it has that retro feel but its brushed nickel finish gives it this really interesting die me dichotomy of elegance.

It's me thumbing my nose at the complacency of faucet design around the world! lol

Home improvements are really addicting, once this bit looks nice you want other bits to start looking nice. I'll have to thank those silly old valves for starting this! :P

Yay, I am glad you like it! It does have this really nice retro feel while still having an elegance of the brushed nickel.

OMG, I'm just glad I avoided the kitchen area as I've been eyeing up refrigerators lately with a fervor! So envious that you have a proper backyard, I must make due with my wee balcony.

And I totally agree about the sprucing up your home thing. I mean, I always see people making improvements when they want to sell but why not make them while you live there and enjoy your house that much more while you are there? :P

Yay, I'm glad you like! It's kinda silly how excited I am about a faucet, it's the joy of home ownership I guess. Plus, one has to find the joy in a $500 unexpected expenditure.

Yay, I'm so glad you got it! It was oddly not a tough one to do. I was pondering putting a couple more together and actually putting them up for sale on ebay or something. They turned out nicer than I had expected! I just need to get me to the bead store 'cause I'm fresh out of clasps! lol
