This morning over breakfast, my stepfather commented that Michael Vick got some well-deserved jail time for abusing all those dogs. Then he kicked Dusty. He kicked Dusty hard enough to cause injury; it's nothing serious, but the little guy seems to be pretty sore. The worst part is that, when I told my stepfather that he had hurt the dog he said, "

You could just report him to the aspca...they'd charge him with a felony for animal abuse....

I told my mother I was going to and she said she'd kick me out if I did. Besides, she'd probably lie for him and say I did it or something.
