I've decided to join a fraternity this semester for my own reasons. To those of you who ask why, I swear never to pop my collars ...nor will I wear a trucker hat.

I'm almost caught up with school being that I transfered to NSU two weeks behind schedule.

My behavior has changed dramatically in the past two weeks. I feel calm, collective and more curious than ever. Everyone I talk to feels sorry for my loss from Katrina, but it's OK. My apartment may be destroyed from Katrina's wrath. On the other hand, everything could be fine. I really don't care because it's just stuff. What matters is that my family and friends are safe and sound. The anticipation, however, is absolutely killing me.

Classes began last week, and things couldn't have gone better. My english professor looks like a combination of KFC's Kernal Sandars and Blue from Old School sporting hippie-esque attire.
