In my previous update, I said that I was studying computer programming. Well - I am still just a few weeks shy of completing the last course, but through some very good fortune I now have a job in the field, and I'm grateful every day. Specifically, I work in quality assurance for a tech firm, testing software and features of it. I live in fear

Congratulations on the new job and apartment. And your 2 furry roomies. Outlander ... I have all the books and watched the first series/season. Gut-wrenching stuff. I've got all the rest of the tv series on my hard drive for when I'm emotionally stable enough to watch it. (No idea when that will be.)

Guh, the show is amazing but I'm getting so so into the book series. Gutwrenching is right!!! I'm halfway through the second book and I'm on a particularly harrowing part of it now. I haven't loved a piece of fiction this much in sooooo longggg.

Seconding the congrats on the job and new place. Nice to hear what you've been up to. I don't go to LJ anymore and was overwhelmed with trying to keep up with things when I was so I drifted away (and have since moved to Dreamwidth with most of general fandom, it seems), but LJ sent me a "they've posted after a long time!" message so I clicked. :)
