Gleanings
I am one of those people who considers browsing teh Interwebs to see what I can see an excellent use of my time. Today, I give you some of the fruits of my travels.
First off, "Intel Engineers" take the Intel chime to a whole new level. A human cannonball level.
Done for the lulz and so on.
Next! This amazing, OMG drool can I live there plz Steampunk House. With stained glass and wrought iron and other amazing stuffs. Perhaps decorate with a few things from Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre?
Then I find out that you can see Pompeii's ruins on Google Map's street view.
For the Mawrtyrs (and whoever else wants), a nifty owl wallpaper from National Geographic.
Unadulterated awesome. Volcanoes, guys. Underwater volcanoes. Erupting. On film.
And when I said the known universe is under this cut? I wasn't kidding.
First, link to images from the ESA's Herschel Observatory. The collection is still pretty small, but it should be growing over the next few days.
