Fleur d’AEthelmearc (mid level A&S award) scroll for Roxanne de Saint Luc. Given out at Pennsic War 40 (2011). Based on The FLOWER BOOK OF HOURS by Simon Bening (16th century). are stunt doubles routinely done?

To the best of my knowledge, we have never done “stunt double” scrolls in our Kingdom. I came up with the idea because the original scroll is on goat skin parchment and was reacting to the humidity. I was so afraid if I brought it to Pennsic, it would get damaged (high humidity, bad weather, etc). I contacted our current Signet (Baroness Ekat) and TRM and asked if they would be OK with me bringing a photo copy of the scroll to go out at Pennsic and keep the original at home. They were all fine with it (thank goodness!). One thing to note, this scroll was given to my younger sister (blood related) so it wont be a problem for me to get the original scroll to her ( ... )
