Where Una gets the snark knocked out from under her.  Kinda.

I've been exposed to this movie before courtesy of Turner Classic Movie Channel, and have to admit I was predisposed to hate it.  For one thing, the run time is 172 minutes.  Nearly 3 hours, and not especially engrossing hours at that.  I was all set with the tagline:  Where Una feels as ( Read more... )

Main thing I remember about that movie was it being loooooong.

I did like Gentleman's Agreement. Of course I'll watch just about anything with Gregory Peck in it.

Ufda - it IS long! And I ended up watching it twice to de-snark after that pivotal scene got to me.

I do dislike it when movies give characters an easy out to tough choices. Dana Andrews' lounge singer wife didn't have to be such a harpie. And by 'harpie' I mean 'slut'.
